Profile
Wrapper: No discernible odor.
Cold Draw: Not performed.
Start: Stiff draw with limited airflow, mild flavors emerge slowly: cocoa, black pepper, leather, and walnut.
First Third: Airflow improves significantly after switching to a straight cut, introducing buttery cream and nutty undertones.
Second Third: Creamy leather becomes dominant, accompanied by bread notes, nuts, and nutmeg.
Final Third: Rich almonds, chocolate undertones, and leather define the finish with a medium-plus body.
Construction Notes: Early stiffness and wrapper issues were user-related but did not detract from the overall flavor quality once resolved.
Raw Notes
Wrapper has no odor
Forgot to do a cold draw
Stick is very stiff, hard to pull
Very difficult to get good airflow on the pull
Not picking up any particular flavors yet… 17m into this cigar
Cocoa
Mild black pepper
Leather
Walnut
Mild to medium body
40 minutes in, and I switched to a straight cut which greatly improved airflow
Buttery cream
Cigar drastically improved after changing to a straight cut
One hour in and it's getting a little nutty
Creamy leather I think speaks to the primary flavor of this cigar
Some notes of bread and nuts
Nutmeg
1.5 hours into this cigar, more than the halfway point
Flavor is now medium plus
Final third reminds me of almonds and chocolate undertones with the leather still playing a strong role
Had to put it down, the wrapper was falling off and it was losing its flavor
The construction issue of the wrapper was my fault because I kept squeezing the cigar to increase flow with the v-cut, should've started with a straight cut
